Badley Ashton is pleased to sponsor the Geological Society's forthcoming Careers Day, which will be held on Wednesday 18th of November at the British Geological Survey's Nottingham facility.

The day is an excellent opportunity for graduates in Geological Science to explore potential career options and gain insights into how to progress in their chosen sector. In addition there will be interview and CV workshops, as well as a chance to tour parts of the BGS Core Store and participate in a Virtual Fieldwork 3D Demonstration.

As a sponsor, Badley Ashton will have a stand in the exhibition. Here you will be able to meet two of our Reservoir Geologists, Andrew Smith and Jesal Hirani, who will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about a career in geology (they will also have sweets!). In addition, Badley Ashton are also sponsoring the forthcoming Geomechanical and Petrophysical properties of Mudrocks which will be held on the 16th and 17th of November at the Geological Society in London. Part of the Geological Society's Year of Mud series of events, this event covers a wide range of methods of investigating the properties of these particularly demanding rocks.
