Paralic Team
The Paralic Technical Work Group is a multidisciplinary team of reservoir geologists specialising in the description and evaluation of nearshore to shallow marine clastic sediments at the pore, core and reservoir scale. Oil and gas reservoirs in such coastal deposits are frequently characterised by lateral and vertical variations in depositional facies associated with sea level changes. We are committed to facilitating the understanding of their architecture and reservoir quality through accurate description and high quality integrated multidisciplinary interpretation, as well as a strong collaborative ethos. Team members have worked upon a diverse range of plays worldwide; with a long-standing special focus on the Middle East and North Africa, including single and multiwell evaluations, as well as regional studies. Our group of international earth scientists includes Amal Belaidi, Joseph Harwood, Markus Hoppe, Rhys Jones, Boris Kostic, Dot Payne, and is led by Niamh Connolly.
