The Company has offices in Lincolnshire - UK, Abu Dhabi - UAE, Muscat - Oman, together with a US subsidiary company based in Houston. We currently have vacancies for the following positions:

Junior Clastic Sedimentologists (Ref: CSJ0212)

Role
• to provide high quality, integrated clastic sedimentological consultancy services to a variety of clients
• frequent international travel

Skills
• a Ph.D. or M.Sc. with a core-based depositional environment specialism
• excellent oral and written communication skills
• demonstrated enthusiasm to meet client expectations and deadlines
• a drive for self-progression and career development
• excellent computer literacy

Senior Clastic Sedimentologists (Ref: CSS0212)
With experience in deltaic/estuarine and turbiditic deposits

Role
• to provide high quality, integrated clastic sedimentological consultancy services in the context of paralic or turbidite depositional systems to a variety of international clients. This work would include frequent international travel and, after completing an induction period in our UK office, the successful candidate would be considered for secondment in one of our overseas offices
• support, develop and monitor junior geologists
• technical scoping of new work coupled with business awareness of industry trends
• assist in the technical marketing and development of new business areas in accordance with the Company's vision

Skills
• a Ph.D. with specialism in paralic or turbidite depositional systems
• a strong understanding of trace fossils and their depositional implications
• an understanding of modern-day deltaic/estuarine and, more specifically, tidal-influenced or turbidite depositional systems
• a proven track record of industry experience in exploration, appraisal or development of clastic reservoirs
• excellent oral and written communication skills to a variety of audiences
• demonstrated enthusiasm and time management skills to meet client expectations and deadlines
• a drive for self-progression and career development with skills to lead a focused project team
• excellent computer literacy including experience in industry standard software (e.g. TerraStation, Petrel)

Clastic Petrographer/Reservoir Quality Analyst (Ref: CP0212)

Role

• to join a focused work team, providing integrated reservoir quality interpretation services to a variety of international clients

Skills
• a Ph.D. or M.Sc. with a specialism in the diagenesis of clastic reservoir systems
• a knowledge of light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction mineralogy, cathodoluminescence and fluid inclusion analysis
• experience of reservoir quality and pore system analysis, and integration with sedimentological data would be an advantage
• excellent oral and written communication skills to a variety of audiences
• excellent computer literacy in standard Office and industry applications
• a drive for self-development and career advancement

Structural Geologist (Ref: SG0212)

Role

• to work principally at the reservoir scale in fault and fracture analysis from core and borehole images to provide integrated reservoir description solutions with our sedimentologists

Skills
• a Ph.D. with a specialism in reservoir-scale structural analysis
• experience in fracture modelling and fault seal analysis would be beneficial
• experience sedimentological data integration would also be beneficial
• excellent oral and written communication skills to a variety of audiences
• a drive for self-development and career advancement
• excellent computer literacy
